Camp right on the river....but first come first serve...

Here is the video from our stay at Spruce Creek Park in Bellevue, IA in 2021. A lot to do in the area. Great park. I should mention that since this is a first come first serve park we wanted to first make sure we had a spot and second ideally we wanted to be RIGHT on the river. We arrived on Thursday and all the river spots were already taken. There were plenty of other spots just no river spots. First thing Friday morning 3 river spots opened up and we debated on whether we should pack up and move over to the river spots. We were afraid by the time we got packed up someone would snag them and then we would have to unpack again so we stayed where we were and really it was a great spot. This park only has power. You have to utilize the dumpstation and also the water outlets to fill your tanks. Luckily our spot was only about 100 feet from the water outlet and we had to get water on Saturday. I had plenty of hose to reach it so we filled up in this manner.
