Great day today.....we actually had 3 stops planned but the 1st stop to the lighthouse took a little longer than expected. Here is a map of the days original plan. No Whitefish Point today but we will make it there and man am I glad we did!

First up, Crisp Point lighthouse. Some people online said this is a pretty cool stop. What they didn't tell us was the last 12 miles of the road is rough dirt single lane road. You can't go over 5-10mph. This is why it took us so long to get there. Passing head on cars is tough and you can't go very fast. Here is a video of the road to give you an idea:
Once you get there its pretty cool. Well worth the trip out there. They have a gift shop and you can go up in the lighthouse and you can go on the outside of the lighthouse at the top. Very cool. I think Logan went up there maybe 5 times.

After a sack lunch we were off to Tahquamenon Falls. Another pretty cool stop. I had read about this one so I knew that you take a rowboat over to the island and hike around the island and you can get in the waterfalls there.
There are two areas. Upper falls and Lower falls. The Lower Falls have the row boat over to the island. It was $20 to go over. The Upper falls has two main lookout areas and a few in between. There are about 100 steps up and down to get to these but its all mostly shaded. Time to head back to camp and have a FIRE!!!
