Day 6 - 8-5-21 - Grand Marias Beach

Since we are not going to bike Grand Island we decided to take it easy today and Logan wanted to go to a beach. Our camping neighbors, the Lovejoys, said we should go to Grand Marias. The beach there is good and they have a restaurant that allows dogs. Yahtzee!!! Off we go!!!
So to get there I wanted to see what it was like along the lake so we headed north up to Deer Park and then cut across. Yeah from Deer Park on its a dirt road. It wasn't quite as bad as you can see.... On the way back we took the blue line.
It was a cool beach. Alot of people collecting rocks. Logan got buried and we built sand castles which I'm sure are still standing. I reinforced mine with extra rocks!!! Logan wanted to smash it. The water was nice!
We went into town, not a very big town, had sandwiches, they were ok, I wouldn't rave about them and then we headed back to camp! Guess what for???? You got it.....a FIRE!!! :-)
