Since we didn't get to do the pontoon boat and we couldn't kayak Pictured Rock we decided to take the official boat tour. Yeah, I don't think I would do that again. It was hot. There was no breeze. We figured if we sat on top we would get the most breeze and be able to get some pictures.....not so much. No breeze, we didn't go fast enough and it wasn't good for pictures. You couldn't stand up to take any. Oh well at least we got to see it!!!! It was pretty cool. The advantage of the boat tour was you got to hear the Captain talk about what you were seeing with the history and facts to go along with it. Took us 20 min to get to where it started. So back over to Munising we go. The boat tour also has a free kennel for the dog for the duration of the cruise....NICE!

Some of the cool facts.....bay right by Munising is 300ft deep. There is a sand bar along the

edge that is knee deep. 3 more feet to the west and it drops to 90ft deep. No thanks!! They told about all the mineral's you see. Also this is the only place in the world where you can see layers of earth that date back 200,000 years. All of the Great Lakes would fit into Lake Superior and then some.

Ok, after the boat trip and we grabbed the dog it was off to Sand Point Beach. Logan is excited!! This is just to the East of Munising about 15 minutes.

And we are headed back to camp! Maybe we will have a FIRE!!! :-)
